SQL Server Crossword #1

It’s been ages since I originally posted this way way back when I first started this blog. It proved a popular post back then and so I wanted to share it with all of you new readers.

I’m toying with the idea of making puzzles, games, and quizzes a more regular feature so if this is something that you would like to see more of let me know!

Below you will find a SQL Server themed Crossword for you to complete. Now be warned this is not going to be easy. The only guidance I will offer is that the answers are all SQL Server words that you will be familiar with from your experience as a SQL Server guru.

Nice Idea John, Is there is problem with the clues not matching the squares on the puzzle? I don’t thnk there is space on the puzzle for 2,4,5,7,9 accross and the same for 3,6 down and there is no clue for anything > 9 so I guess this is just a numbering issue

    • http://www.johnsansom.com John Sansom

Hey Gethyn! Well spotted thanks. I will fix this shortly.

If you click through to either the interactive or printer friendly version the numbering is correct.

      Corrected.

Between you and me, I love puzzles! They don’t love me back though but I enjoy them anyway. There was a puzzle from one of Itzik’s books that just drove me crazy for three days. Didn’t figure it out but my bestfriend did! Urgh, I’m not even going to say what happened after. ;)

I’m printing this out and I will play with it later. Thank you for sharing.

Hey Janice! Ha ha, I’m not sure anyone can solve Itzik’s puzzles :-) I’m sure you’ll have no trouble with this one though.
